Shoreditch. Both large-scale sculpture and demountable storage, the design is conceived as an adaptable space that can both stack to form a large monolith, and scatter to provide over 20 individual furnitures for storage, seating and showing the salons collection of objects and books. Bespoke mirror stands have been commissioned alongside two new chairs, named tweedle-dum and tweedle-dee for their opposing top and bottom heavy characters. Salon opens for bookings soon. The Rosebank arcade is a large scale wall and floor installation in Waltham Forest. Commissioned by the London Borough of Waltham Forest, the piece acts as an enormous welcome mat for new visitors and daily commuters alike,&nbsp; compressing the excitement of the borough into a tunnel of colour, pattern and energy. With large arches and a 20 metre long floor pattern, the piece is architectural in scale - considered as a fragment of a grand civic arcade, maybe the remnants of a building once here, maybe the start scheme for the London Borough of Newham, as part of the Shape Newham program. Situated on Green St, the prominent site is being redesigned to create a bold welcome to the area, whilst improving pedestrian &amp; cycle access to the street.&nbsp; The project has been developed in close consultation with local residents and is part of a broader scheme of new designer, architect and artist interventions overseen by AOC Architecture. Holding Up plays with the themes of myth, fiction and unbuilt architecture at Castle Drogo to create new works which further a history of constant change at the site. Using a series of drawings, models, films, carved stone and a large-scale installation, the work aims to&nbsp;persuade visitors of plans for a large imaginary tower above the existing building. Drawing on the techniques of full-scale prototyping that Lutyens used to develop the Castles design, the main installation is designed to show what the foundations of this tower would look like were they to cut through the room.
